This is a very thick Scoby, could be divided into 3!
This SCOBY is much thicker than any I have ever ordered. It came in a double bag with plenty of started liquid. I am sure it will produce great kombucha in no time. I have a batch going right now. I would recommend this live starter. I will be dividing and saving this SCOBY for future batches. The price is good for the quality.

    Big sized scoby! Mine was 5” in diameter with good thickness. The coffee filter with a rubber band included in the package are a nice plus. My best scoby purchase so far. Will see how the first batch turns out.

    I've been making kombucha for YEARS. I had a SCOBY hotel so I had a bunch of them but stopped making kombucha for awhile and let the SCOBYs go and buried them all in my garden. I wanted to start again so ordered a SCOBY from this seller. The resulting taste of the kombucha was horrible and I threw it all away. I always do a second ferment with ginger and I have absolutely never had any that tasted like this did. I do not understand WHY….I've NEVER had an issue so I can only infer that it was the SCOBY I purchased. I've also never had a SCOBY sink before and this one did. I was concerned about that but let it ferment as I always do. I started my own SCOBY and will NEVER buy from this seller again if ever need another SCOBY.

    I have always wanted to make kombucha bit never had the time. When I retired and had time I couldn't find scoby. Thank you very much. This is a wonderful product. I added blueberry to the second fermination and wow. Love it. Thanks again

    My scoby arrived quickly! Plenty of starter tea comes with scoby. I recvd 2 smaller scoby's each about 5'' across.
    I placed them both into their new home and within 24 hours they we are doing their thing….their scoby thing. Today is day 5 and they are growing like crazy! It wont be long before I can bottle my very first Kombucha!!
    I do recommend this company!!!! Healthy Scoby!!! Thank you.
